Practice Group Descriptions

All Groups require an Active USA Swimming membership


Dolphin Group- Run by Coach Paige; This group is designed for athletes ages 12 and under. This group is for athletes who have either come to swimming later in the developmental stage or are learning the fundamentals of the four competitive strokes, starts and turns with fun-filled training drills and positive low stress competitive atmosphere. The emphasis of this group is to develop the athletes skills of the four competitive strokes/ starts and turns, learning how to read the clock, understanding training sets, and building basic aerobic conditioning.


Senior Group- Run by Coach Bob, This group is designed for athletes ages 11-18. This group is for athletes who are transitioning from an age group swimmer to senior level swimming. The athletes in this group have decided to make swimming their passion. They will train and compete in senior and junior level meets throughout the year, depending on their age and skill level. Swimmers and families should be committed to training 6 days a week, and participate in USA swimming competitive swim meets.


In order to move from Dolphin to Senior - 11/12 year old swimmers must be able to complete the USA Swimming IMX Lineup

College Group- The professional group is for those athletes that have exhausted their NCAA eligibility and will continue with their focus towards Elite level championships competition such as the Olympics, World Championships, National Championships. This group is by invitation only.
